Despite its strengths, the platform faced a retention challenge, with less than 10% of new users retained quarterly. Disturbingly, 63% of users dropped off before making their first trip, highlighting a critical issue in user onboarding.

By aligning the layout with the familiar interfaces of prominent transportation services, the goal was to offer an intuitive and straightforward booking experience. The redesign struck a balance between providing a fresh look for new users and maintaining familiarity for existing users. This approach ensures a seamless transition for current users while welcoming new users with an updated, user-friendly interface.
