A unified dashboard for email marketing enabling a seamless workflow

Overview

The problem in the email tool market was clear, many platforms scattered their features, making users hunt for different tools and solutions for various email functions. This fragmented experience led to confusion and inefficiency. At Kibamail, we wanted to solve this by grouping email marketing tools under a single use case, creating a more cohesive and streamlined experience. The first focus was on the Engage product, which is dedicated to email marketing.

Scope

The goal was to redesign Kibamail’s email marketing experience by bringing all key tools(broadcast creation, automation, subscriber management, and campaign categorization) into one place. This would provide users with a seamless and intuitive workflow for managing their email marketing campaigns, without the need to search for scattered features.

Execution

I helped design the Engage product by grouping related tools into specific categories, ensuring that users could easily access and use them for their email marketing needs. I also created the Owly Design System, which provided visual consistency across the platform by implementing scalable components and color tokens. The result was a unified experience that simplified navigation and made managing email campaigns more efficient.

Outcome

By grouping the tools under the Engage product and streamlining the user experience, Kibamail made it much easier for users to manage their email marketing campaigns. The new system reduced confusion, improved navigation, and allowed users to quickly find and use the tools they needed. This unified dashboard helped Kibamail stand out in the market, providing a smoother and more effective solution for email marketers.
