Improved delivery experience with zonal systems and tracking features that worked even in areas with low coverage
One of the major challenges was addressing the geo-related issues in areas with partial coverage. We created a zonal delivery system, grouping areas into zones to enable smoother business operations and ensure delivery accuracy, even in low-coverage areas. This helped us scale operations and create a more reliable experience for users and vendors.
To enhance the user experience, we designed a timeline feature for riders to track their deliveries in real-time. This feature provided updates on every step of the process, making it easier for users to understand the journey of their order and receive clearer communication throughout.
The project’s success was evident with 10k active users within two months of launch, and it was an incredible experience to be part of a project that focused not only on design but also on improving the operational side. Working closely with the PM and developers, we were able to create a product that truly met the needs of the business and its users.
